Triple-pass Rotary Dryer

The triple-pass rotary dryer consists of three concentric nested cylinders. It relies on lifting flights to shower the materials and facilitate heat exchange with the hot air stream for dehydration. Featuring a multi-stage heat exchange system and a self-insulating structure, the equipment makes full use of waste heat, ensuring high energy efficiency. Equipped with a transmission system, a multi-fuel hot air furnace, and a dust collection system, the materials travel along an S-shaped trajectory inside the drum, delivering superior drying performance.

This equipment is capable of processing granular and powdered materials with an initial moisture content of up to 50%. It is highly suitable for drying various materials, including iron powder, metal concentrates, tailings, quartz sand, river sand, bentonite, coal slime, and sewage sludge. It is widely utilized across industries such as mineral processing, building materials, chemical engineering, and environmental protection.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE

The materials are fed into the inner cylinder of the triple-pass dryer via the feeding device, where the initial drying is completed in a co-current flow mode.

Driven by the lifting flights, the materials are continuously lifted, showered, and advanced in a spiral trajectory. This ensures full heat exchange with the hot air stream.

The materials then enter the middle cylinder for counter-current drying. Here, they move in a reciprocating motion, fully absorbing the radiant heat from the cylinder walls. This effectively extends the heat exchange duration, ensuring optimal drying performance.
