High Intensity Magnetic Concentrator for Ilmenite

The High Intensity Magnetic Concentrator for Ilmenite is a cutting-edge, five-roller double-layer magnetic separator recently developed by Guote Intelligent Equipment. Specifically engineered for the separation and purification of ilmenite, this unit efficiently isolates titanium concentrate, iron concentrate, and impurities, making it an indispensable piece of equipment in the ilmenite beneficiation process.

Widely used for the separation of weakly magnetic minerals with a particle size of less than 2-3mm, as well as for the cleaning and upgrading of metallic ores such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, and ilmenite.

1.High-Performance Magnetic System: The magnetic system utilizes high-performance NdFeB permanent magnet material featuring high coercivity and high remanence, achieving a surface magnetic field intensity of up to 10,000 Gauss. The poles are designed with a multi-pole alternating N-S arrangement along the circumference, causing minerals to tumble repeatedly on the drum surface, which significantly enhances concentrate grade.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE

Magnetic Concentrator for Ilmenite

Materials are evenly distributed onto the surface of the first-layer low-intensity magnetic drum by a feeding distributor. Under the influence of the weak magnetic field, strongly magnetic iron concentrate is firmly adsorbed onto the drum surface, rotating with the cylinder until it reaches the non-magnetic zone, where it detaches and falls into the iron concentrate hopper.

Subsequently, the weakly magnetic titanium concentrate enters the surface of the second-layer high-intensity magnetic drum. Here, under the combined action of a strong magnetic field and the high-speed rotation of the drum, the minerals undergo magnetic tumbling and are directed into a specific area to fall into the titanium concentrate hopper. Meanwhile, non-magnetic impurities, unaffected by magnetic force, are thrown off by the drum's centrifugal force directly into the tailings hopper. The material undergoes further purification via the second-layer drum, achieving the efficient separation of titanium concentrate, iron concentrate, and tailings.
