Dry High Intensity Magnetic Drum Separator is designed for the magnetic separation of dry materials with a moisture content below 5%. It serves as a core piece of equipment in mineral processing production lines, combining high efficiency, environmental friendliness, and cost-effectiveness.

Guote's dry drum magnetic separators can be customized based on material characteristics and processing capacity to meet specific production requirements, while simultaneously helping clients reduce separation costs.

It is suitable for processing strongly magnetic minerals such as magnetite and ilmenite, weakly magnetic minerals like hematite and manganese ore, industrial solid waste including steel slag and fly ash, as well as non-metallic purification applications for quartz sand and ceramic raw materials.

Dry materials (with moisture content < 5%) are evenly distributed onto the surface of the rotating drum via a vibrating feeder. Magnetic minerals are captured by the strong magnetic force and carried along with the drum's rotation; they fall off by gravity once they reach the non-magnetic zone. Non-magnetic materials, unaffected by the magnetic field, drop directly into the non-magnetic discharge chute.The magnetic system features an alternating N/S pole arrangement. This design causes the material to roll and tumble on the drum surface, effectively stripping away trapped impurities. This achieves efficient separation of magnetic and non-magnetic substances. As the entire process requires no water, this machine stands as a core piece of equipment in mineral processing production lines.
