Attrition Scrubber

The Attrition Scrubber  is specifically designed for high-concentration slurry processing. Relying on mechanical agitation and hydraulic action, it utilizes particle-to-particle rubbing to peel off mud and impurities from the surface of the ore. It is widely used in the pretreatment of minerals such as quartz sand, feldspar, and tin ore.

The equipment consists of a motor, main shaft, impeller, wear-resistant tank, and transmission system. It can be integrated with sand washers, dewatering screens, and hydrocyclones to achieve a continuous, all-in-one operation of scrubbing, washing, and dewatering.

This machine is widely used for desliming and impurity removal of minerals such as quartz sand, potassium-sodium feldspar, phosphate rock, and iron ore, effectively upgrading the mineral processing quality. It is also highly suitable for cleaning river pebble and basalt manufactured sand, as well as construction aggregates. Furthermore, it can efficiently process high-clay and highly viscous ores and materials.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE

1.Feeding & Agitation: The slurry enters the chamber through a pipeline. The motor drives the main shaft to rotate clockwise, creating a negative pressure zone via the impeller that induces intense turbulence, ensuring thorough mixing of the materials.

2.Friction & Peeling: Under high-speed agitation, the ore particles are squeezed and rubbed against each other. The friction causes the thin film of surface impurities (such as clay and cementing agents) to peel off.

3.Separation & Discharge: The cleaned ore is pushed by the impeller to the discharge outlet. Meanwhile, the impurities are broken down into mud and discharged through the overflow outlet, proceeding to the subsequent desliming process.
