Guote’s large-scale iron ore upgrading project in Xinjiang with an annual output of 5 million tons has been put into stable operation. The local ore is typical low-grade and hard-to-separate iron ore, characterized by fine-grained iron minerals, high gangue content and limited upgrading effect from traditional processing technologies. Considering the local climate and ore properties, Guote delivered a customized dry-wet combined beneficiation solution, equipped with self-developed vertical ring high-gradient magnetic separators to cover pre-separation, concentration and tailings recovery processes. The project effectively removes impurities and improves iron concentrate grade, while realizing resource recovery of fine-grained iron tailings. It reduces energy, water and reagent consumption, greatly improves resource utilization efficiency, and serves as a benchmark for green and intelligent upgrading of iron ore mines in arid regions, providing replicable references for similar processing plants in North China.
