Process Description

  Crushing process

  Large pieces of quartz ore are conveyed to the crushing process through a belt conveyor. According to the characteristics of the quartz ore, 1-2 level crushing units will be set up. The crushing process crushes large pieces of quartz ore into small particles.

  Ore washing process

  The crushed particles are sent to the ore washing and desludging process through a belt conveyor. The ore washing and desludging process is mainly completed by a drum type ore concentrator. The quartz sand particles enter the drum of the ore washing machine. As the drum rotates, the dirt, fine sand and part of the oxide skin attached to the surface of the quartz sand particles are rolled, squeezed and rubbed. The quartz sand particles are cleaned by the washing water. The clean quartz sand particles are discharged from the tail of the ore washing machine and stacked in the temporary storage yard through the belt conveyor.

  Sand making process

  Use tools such as forklifts to put the naturally dehydrated quartz sand particles into the feeding hopper of the grinding process. A vibrating feeder is installed under the feeding hopper to continuously and evenly unload the quartz sand particles in the hopper onto the belt conveyor (the belt conveyor uses a white conveyor belt to effectively avoid color pollution during the conveying process). The quartz sand particles are thrown into the vertical sand making machine and ground into small quartz sand particles of 4 to 120 mesh by the equipment.

  Magnetic separation process

  The small particles after grinding enter the feeding pit of the bucket elevator through the sand discharge port at the bottom. The particles are lifted by the bucket elevator and transported to the screening and impurity removal process. First, they enter the drum screen for screening. The finished qualified quartz sand particles fall into the high-field strength magnetic separator for impurity removal. Under the selection of a magnetic field as high as 10,000 GS, all weakly magnetic iron impurities are completely removed.

  Screening process

  The high-purity quartz sand particles are sent to the final particle size selection process by the bucket elevator and are selected by the linear vibrating screen. High-purity quartz sand particles of different sizes are packed into finished product packages. The entire quartz grinding, screening and impurity removal, and particle size selection process are all carried out in a fully enclosed environment. The generated quartz sand dust is collected by the pulse bag dust collector, which will not cause any dust pollution to the environment.
