Weifang Guote Mining Equipment Co., Ltd.’s quartz sand and feldspar wet production line primarily operates as follows: First, based on the customer’s specific characteristics, such as particle size, hardness, and impurity content, one to three stages of crushing are selected to reduce the ore size. A vibrating feeder uniformly and quantitatively vibrates the bulky ore into a jaw crusher for initial crushing. The crushed ore then enters a cone crusher for further particle size reduction. The smaller ore pieces then fall into a vertical sand making machine for pre-grinding, ultimately producing granular sand that meets process requirements. A belt conveyor then lifts the ore into the grinding silo. A vibrating feeder located below the grinding silo evenly vibrates the sand into a high-frequency vibrating screen for initial screening. The larger particles that pass through the screen enter a ceramic ball mill for grinding. The ground raw ore pulp is transported to the desludging hopper through the slurry pump for the first desludging and impurity removal process. The raw ore pulp with mud and sand impurities removed passes through the lower part of the desludging hopper and enters the blocked settler for particle size classification. The equipment returns most of the raw ore pulp with unqualified particle size to the ceramic ball mill for re-grinding through the lower slag discharge port. The raw ore pulp with qualified particle size is transported to the thickening hopper for the second desludging and impurity removal process. The tailings are discharged into the tailings pond through the upper part of the thickening hopper, and the raw ore pulp enters the hydraulic classifier from the concentrate port at the bottom of the thickening hopper. Under the combined action of turbulence and gravity in the hydraulic classifier, the tailings are discharged into the tailings pond through the upper tailings pipeline. Qualified ore pulp enters the magnetic separation and impurity removal stage. First, the raw ore pulp enters the GTGB flat plate magnetic separator, which efficiently removes most magnetic impurities. The cleaned ore pulp then enters the GTLH high-gradient vertical ring magnetic separator. Under the extremely strong induction magnetic field of up to 20,000 gauss, the fine-grained, weakly magnetic impurities in the ore pulp are completely separated and discharged through the slag discharge pipeline into the tailings pond. The concentrate pulp is pumped into the thickening hopper by the slurry pump for concentration and dewatering. After initial concentration, the concentrate pulp enters the vibrating dewatering screen. Finally, the dried, qualified concentrate is sent to the finished product silo for packaging and shipment.
All tailings generated throughout the entire quartz and feldspar wet production line are collected and sent to the tailings treatment process. First, the tailings slurry is discharged into a thickening tank equipped with a thickener. After initial clarification, the processed water is discharged through an overflow trough. The concentrated tailings slurry settles to the bottom of the tank and is collected by thickening rakes and discharged at the central outlet. It is then pumped by a slurry pump to a ceramic filter for final dewatering. The microporous ceramic plates separate the tailings slurry into solids and liquids, and the separated water can be reused as processing water. The tailings slurry is then transported to the tailings dump via a belt conveyor.
