The client's original ore is natural sand, containing 18-20% mud, 5-10% coarse material, 3-5% sand washing, and a large amount of weeds.
In response to this situation, Mr. Wang Chaodong, a senior mineral processing engineer, personally planned and designed the construction plan based on the site conditions and selected the most cost-effective equipment combination plan for the customer.

Scrubbing and desludging: The material enters the vibrating screen for screening through the feeder via a belt (with a weighing scale). The screened material enters the spiral ore washer for preliminary washing and desludging. After pre-washing, the material enters the scrubbing machine for secondary scrubbing. The scrubbed slurry enters the desludging bucket on the grading tower through the slurry pump to separate the sand, mud and impurities of the material, reduce the mud content of the original ore and balance the slurry.

Screening and grading: The desludging material enters the drum screen, and a 2-stage drum screen is used to separate the coarse products of 26 mesh, and the +26 mesh enters the coarse sand site for stacking. During the grading and screening process, the fine products of 26 mesh enter the concentration bucket and hydraulic classifier, and the hydraulic classifier separates the fine products of 140 (0.1mm) mesh.

Magnetic separation and dehydration: The materials that come out of the drum screen and hydraulic classifier are qualified particle size materials. The qualified particle size materials enter the magnetic separation stage. Under the plate magnetic separator with a magnetic field of up to 10000GS-12000GS, all iron impurities and some weak magnetic iron are completely removed. Finally, the qualified materials are dehydrated by the dehydration screen and then put into the pile shed. The mineral wastewater generated by the entire production line is transported to the thickening tank with a thickener for purification, which can be recycled.
PROJECT RESULT
The project reduced production costs by 15%, exceeding customer expectations by 5%. After scrubbing, grading and magnetic separation, the raw ore meets the requirements of float glass sand. The whole plant operates smoothly, the equipment performs well, and the mineral processing indicators and economic benefits meet the requirements.
